Roxanne Turner Akers, 55, of 604 Johns Creek Road, wife of Jeffery Akers, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Gladys Winchester Turner and the late William H. Turner. Roxanne was the accounts payable clerk for Greenwood Mills Executive Office and was a homemaker. She was an avid couponer and of the United Methodist Faith. Surviving are her husband of the home; her mother of Greenwood; a daughter, April Akers of Greenwood; and a sister, Mary Frances Anderson of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Ron Anderson, Don Anderson, William Akers, Brent Akers, Marcus Manley and Marty Manley. The body is at Harley Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
