Leland Roy Raborn, 100, former lifelong resident of Greenwood, widower of Edna Burris Raborn, died Thursday, February 20, 2014. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late David Julius Raborn and Susie Elizabeth McKinney Raborn. Roy was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII and retired from Fred Smith Company. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Barry Raborn (Kay) of Spruce Pine, NC, two grandchildren, Ashley Harrington (Ryan) of Milledgeville, GA and Allyson Meredith Raborn of Spruce Pines, NC; and three great grandchildren, William Brock Harrington, Evan Tyler Harrington and Saylor Ryan Harrington.
