Roy Etta Vanadore Smith, 87, widow of Thomas Jefferson Smith, died Sunday, November 1, 2015 at NHC of Greenwood. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Carl King Vanadore and Pearl Rhodes Vanadore. After her retirement from Greenwood Mills- Harris Plant, Roy was a group home care giver at Connie Maxwell Childrens Home. She enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake. Roy was a member of Harris Baptist Church where she was in the TEL Sunday school class. Surviving is a sister, Kay Vanadore Finkenstadt of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her siblings, James Vanadore, Jack Vanadore, Gwen Vanadore Conner and Mary Vanadore McAbee. Memorials may be sent to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O.
