Roy J. Steadman, 61, of 163 Third Street, Ellerbe, NC, husband of Angela Holder Steadman, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Archie Ray and Leta Padgett Steadman. He was retired from Greenwood Vocational Rehabilitation and was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife of the home and a brother, Ray Odell Steadman and his wife, Summer, of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Greer.
