Roy P. Stephenson, 95, of 212 Alabama Avenue, husband of Eunice Driggers Stephenson, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at NHC Health Care Center. Born in Toccoa, GA, he was a son of the late Tom and Ricie Chandler Stephenson. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was a member of East Side Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Grant Stephenson and a son, Tommy Stephenson. Surviving are his wife of the home; a daughter, Anne Underwood of Greenwood; a son, Jerry Stephenson of Columbia; two stepdaughters, Sandra Kidd and Carolyn Randall, both of Greenwood; a brother, Harold Stephenson of Athens, GA and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
