Alton Roy Taylor, 47, of 506 Old Ninety Six Highway, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at his home. Born in Pennsylvania, he was a son of Martha Barnett Sweat and the late Ronald Leroy Taylor. He was employed by Sterilite and was a member of the Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his mother and stepfather, James Sweat of Laurens; his daughter, Brittney Taylor of Greenwood; two sisters, Marie Kimbrell (J. T.) of Gray Court and Frances Brock (Allen) of Waterloo; five brothers, Ricky Barnett (Tina) and Craig Taylor of Greenwood, Robby Barnett of Ninety Six, Jimmy Sweat (Pam) of Tennessee and Tommy James (Ann) of Georgia; and a grandchild, Jordan Alberson of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by a brother, Burt Roy Taylor.
