Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Ruby Sexton Bailey, 84, of 331 Mill Cabin Road, Ninety Six, wife of A. L. Bailey, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at her home. Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Eunice Elizabeth Corn Sexton and Charles Harrison Sexton. She retired from Connie Maxwell Children�s Home, a member of The Parents� Club and served on the Human Rights Committee at Whitten Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six. Surviving is her husband of the home; two daughters, Treva Larease Bailey of Clinton, SC and Tonya Bailey Cronic and her husband, Hunter, of Hodges; two sisters, Maggie S. Cheek and Lois S. Allen, both of Greenwood; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Wayne Bailey; five sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Hunter Cronic, Danny McGee, Coley Shirley, Fred Shirley, Steve Allen and Phil Allen. Honorary escort will be friends who played music with Eddie Wayne through the years.
