Obituary
Ruby R. Karner, 95, of 131 Champion Green, Greenwood, widow of Raymond Karner, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Morningside Assisted Living of Greenwood.
Born in Village of Bloomingdale, IL, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Violet Ingrish Raap. Ruby was a former Village Clerk, a school secretary and the owner of Silver Lining in Roselle, IL.
Surviving are her children, Kay R. Rusche of Ninety Six, SC, Karen Caulfield of Springfield, VA, Roger Karner of Fox Lake, IL and Ronald Karner of Steamwood, IL; a sister, Charlotte Burghardt of Glen Ellyn, IL; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
No services are planned.
The family would like to express their gratitude of love and support given to Ruby by her caretakers including Gail Davis, RN, Amber Ellenberg, RN, Kim Goodman, RN, Tiara Dale, Brenda Stevens, Dr. John Ergle, the Staff of Morningside of Greenwood and Hospice Care of South Carolina.
