Ruby Mae Johnson Hodges, 100, of National Health Care, formerly of 4905 Hwy 178 North, widow of William C. �W.C.� Hodges died Monday, September 28, 2009 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Iva, she was a daughter of the late William Sanford and Vanie Seymoure Johnson. Mrs. Hodges retired from Greenwood Mills Plant # 5 after 51 years of service and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was active in the Greenwood Senior Center and Hodges Senior Club. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Providence Baptist Church where she was in the Sudie Milford Sunday School Class and in the Keenagers Adults Club. Surviving are two sisters, Dot Holley Weathers of Union, SC and Evelyn Hathcox of Bellflower, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
