Rudolph Carlyle Richardson, 87, of 209 River Place, McCormick, husband of Beulah Allen Richardson, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at Hospice House, Greenwood, SC. Born in Burlington, VT, he was a son of the late Ray Richardson and Alice Brown Richardson. He retired as an electrician for The State of New York and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He grew up on a farm in Vermont, where he enjoyed making maple syrup. He has been a Mason since 1943 and was a member of McCormick (SC) United Methodist Church. Rudy was easy going and was a great dad, grandfather and great grandfather. Surviving is his wife of the home; children, Shirley Bronson of Lehi, UT, Sheila Breen of Millerton, NY, Stuart Richardson (Cora) of New Lebanon, NY, Steven Richardson of Wassaic, NY and Eleanor Campbell (Richard) of Wingdale, NY; stepchildren, William Blodgett of Springfield, VT, Gary Blodgett of New Bern, NC, Julie Blodgett of McCormick, SC and David Blodgett (Sue) of Hodges, SC; 45 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
