Cora Ruth Still Butler, 92, of 111 Frances Street, widow of Andrew Watson Butler, passed away October 2, 2021 at her home.
Born in Edgefield County, she was a daughter of the late William Clayton Still and Elizabeth Arlena Dorn Still. She was a member of Pine Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member for over 40 years. Mrs. Butler loved spending time with her family and church friends, doing word searches, and reading the Bible.
Surviving are her children, Barry Butler (Lynn) and Donna Simmons (Billy); sister, Patricia Padgett (Rufus); brothers, Jimmy Still (Pat) and Bob Still (Marie); grandchildren, Jordan Simmons and Hannah Simmons; and numerous extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Andrew, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Brown and Frances Edwards and four brothers, Mitchell, Thurmond, William, and Clyde Still.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Butler and Bob Still officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
