Ruth Lee Horne Dillard, 83, of 1011 Ninety Six Highway, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her home. Born in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Pierce Horne and Mattie Lee Chaney Horne Burgess. She was a waitress while living in Gulfport, MS and was in the landscape business in Greenwood. She was a member of Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving is her daughter, Barbara Jones, and sons, Derrick Bradley, William Dillard and Paul Henry Dillard, all of Greenwood; sisters, Becky Hodges, Sue Padgett and Mary Hiller; brothers, Bobby Ray Horne and Leonard Horne; grandchildren, Tammy Mandaville, Brandy Anthony and Flynn William Dillard and great grandchildren, Kenneth Jenkins, Kevin Jenkins, Paige Cowan, Taylor Cowan, Alexa Cowan, Mercedes Ouzts and Savannah Green. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Jennifer Diana Jones and Alan Jones; great granddaughters, Alicia Jenkins and Paige Cowan; sisters, Helen Bryant and Mattie Bell Suddeth Asbill and brothers, J. P. Horne, Paul Horne and Jimmy Horne. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jenkins, Kevin Jenkins, Chevy Jones, Taylor Cowan, Tony Ray Green and Alex Ouzts. Honorary escort will be her great granddaughters.
