Heaven has gained another angel, Ruth Rebecca Simpson Holder 87, widow of Curtis J. Holder, died Thursday, January 15, 2015. She was a resident of Magnolia Manor and loved and got along with everyone. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late William Crayton Simpson & Maggie Viola Jarvis Simpson. Ruth was retired from Greenwood Mills with 40 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son Ray Holder and wife Nancy Holder of Greenwood, SC. She was preceded in death by another son William Ronald (Ronnie) Holder. Ruth is also survived by three grandchildren, Kelly Wheeler (John) of Mint Hill, NC, Robbie Holder (Kristi) of Indian Trail, NC and Melissa Higginbotham (Jeff) of Greenwood, SC; and great grandchildren, Paige Wheeler, Calab Holder Sydney Holder, Olivia Holder and Ansley Higginbotham.
