Ruth Riser Kelley, 92, of 324 Scotch Cross Road East, widow of Ben Edward Kelley, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Hospice House.

Born in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Wyman and Sallie Bedenbaugh Riser. Ruth retired from Park Davis and was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church where she was in the TEL Sunday school class, Sunshine Club and WMU.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis, Gurney, James and O'Merle Riser.
Surviving are a daughter, Joy Pescatore of Greenwood, a stepdaughter Diane Worrill (Tommy) of Ware Shoals; a sister, Sara Greer of Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren, Jaime Bedenbaugh (Jeff) and Taylor Pescatore; and a great grandson, Luke Bedenbaugh.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Friday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brent Bennett officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
