Ruth Davenport Reynolds, 71, of 85 Moonlight Ridge Road, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Mack Neal Davenport and Cora Mae Cogdill Davenport. Ruth was the former owner of Waterloo Food Store and The Rivers Country Store. She was a member of Bethlehem Union Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mack Davenport and Johnny Davenport. Surviving are two sons, Anthony �Tony� James Reynolds of Waterloo and Thomas Neil Reynolds of the home; a daughter, Tina Smith Reynolds of Greenwood; three sisters, Betty Ann Allen, Lottie Lake, both of Waterloo and Rosa Mae Pruitt of Columbia; a brother, Clyde Davenport of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. The family is at the home of Spanky & Kathy Burdette, 263 Cannon Road, Waterloo, SC 29384. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Union Church, 4628 Riverfork Road, Waterloo, SC 29384.
