Ruthie Mae Seigriest Fowler, 72, of 725 Hwy 246 North, beloved wife of Gary Fowler, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in Bradford, AR, she was a daughter of the late Willie �Bill� Lawrence Seigriest and Mary Osborne Seigriest. Ruthie was a homemaker and the owner of the Budget Outlet. She loved all sports and was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. Ruthie was a member of Coronaca Baptist Church where she played in the church softball league. Surviving in addition to her husband of 56 years of the home are three children: Gary Edwin �Ed� Fowler (Teresa) of Cross Hill, Ruth Lorraine Roberts of Greenwood and Laura Goldman (Kip) of Ninety Six; two sisters, Carolyn Hayslip (Charles) and Virginia Reynolds (Boyd), both of Arkansas; three brothers, Bill Seigriest, Larry Seigriest (Dennett) and Bob Seigriest (Donna), all of Arkansas; five grandchildren: Troy Fowler (Tracy), Micheal Roberts, Dolph Manucy, all of Greenwood, Amy Uldrick (Kevin) of Hodges and Ashley Norton(Adam Crisp) of Ninety Six; and five great grandchildren: Hunter Uldrick, Jarrod Uldrick, both of Hodges, Kohnor Crisp and Haleigh Crisp, both of Ninety Six and Micah Fowler of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Trey Hampton, Adam Crisp, Micheal Roberts, Kevin Uldrick, Al Manucy and Matt McCravy. Memorials may be sent to Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
