Samantha Denise Wood, 18, of 753 Truett Avenue, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Born in Greenwood and was a graduate of Emerald High School and loved swimming, 4-wheelers, dancing and horses. She was Catholic. Surviving are her parents, Jennifer Michelle Wood Weeks of the home, William �Skip� and Angela Alford Cockrell of Greenwood, and James C. Weeks of Greenwood; sisters, Christina Renee Weeks of Ninety Six and Amber Lee Weeks of the home; brothers, Jesse James Weeks of Hodges and James William Weeks of the home; grandparents, Helen and Bob Wood of Greenwood and Bill Cockrell of Callison. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sylvia Cockrell.
