Obituary
Kenneth "Sambo" Wayne Faulkner, 77, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Lindsey Carlisle Faulkner and Charity Johnson Faulkner. Sambo was a true cowboy and skilled horse trainer.
He is survived by his brothers, Gary "Bean" Faulkner (Carolyn) of Greenwood and Ronnie Faulkner (Kathy) of Jacksonville, FL.; sisters, Terry Gilchrist (Marion), Diane Lewis (Wayne), Alice Miller, all of Greenwood, and Faye Amick of Simpsonville; special nieces, nephews, and friends, Kristy, Tricia, Melissa, Chandra, Becca, Jimbo, Jessica, Rabbitt, Randy, Ralph, Brandon, Michelle, Rhonda, and Bart.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends following the service.
