Obituary

Clarence Samuel "Sammy" Graham, Jr., 75, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home.

Born on November 27, 1950, in Athens, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clarence Samuel Graham, Sr. and Mozelle Russell Wells.

Sammy was a man who never met a stranger and had a special gift for starting conversations with anyone he met. You could always count on him to have a new story to tell every time you saw him.

Sammy proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. His dedication to service was an important part of who he was. Beyond his military commitment, he was an avid collector of many things, finding joy and fascination in gathering treasures that reflected his interests.

He took great pride in being a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) and the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (A.M.C.A.), communities where he found camaraderie and a shared passion for motorcycles.

He is survived by his children, Jeffrey "Jeff" Samuel Graham (Angie) and Amanda Graham Long (John); sisters, Betty Jordan, Sandra Brown, and Kelly DeJesus; brother, Tony Wells; grandchildren: Garrett Graham, Kairi Chalmers, Ashlen Sinnott (Dennis Tomaso), Aubrey Long, Gentry Long, and Schanen Sinnott (Courtney); and great grandchild, Barrett Tomaso.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Sprouse officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will his grandsons, Chris Salters, Johnny Riser, Bruce Robinson, and Randall Barrett.

Honorary escort will be his motorcycle friends.

The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sammy leaves behind a life full of stories, friendships, and memories. His ability to connect with people and his zest for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
