Samuel "Sam" Charles Holden, Jr., of 106 Concord Street, Ninety Six, husband of Teresa Gable Holden, died Monday, March 07, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of Samuel Charles Holden, Sr. and Alma Land Holden. Sam was a Ninety Six High School graduate and worked for FL Aero Space, Piedmont Plastics and Greenwood Plating and Fabrication. He was a former member of Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his parents of Ninety Six are a daughter, Jessica Teresa Holden; a sister Terri Holden Brooks, both of Ninety Six; a brother-in-law, Harold Victor Gable of Epworth; and beloved nieces and nephew, Carolyne Horton of Batesburg, Jayde Brooks of Ninety Six and Taylor Gable of CA.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Reynolds officiating.
Honorary escorts will be his motorcycle friends along with Bobby Armstrong, Allan Armstrong, Nate Horton, Fletcher Winn and Coley Harter.
The family will receive friends following the service.
