Sandra Burts McClain, 66, of 405 Morgan Avenue, wife of Dewey McClain, died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Hospice House. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Everette and Jessie Barrett Burts. Sandra was a graduate of Hickory Tavern High School and USC Spartanburg. She was formerly employed with First Citizens Corp where she was vice president. Sandra was a member of Callie Self Baptist Church where she was in the Samaritan Sunday school class. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two daughters, Jane �Beth� Williams of Greenwood and Catherine Raczynski and her husband Andy, of Simpsonville; two sisters, Libby Copeland of Laurens and Jayne Lollis of Hickory Tavern; and four grandchildren, Katie Williams (Terry), Gage Williams, Aimee Martin (Mike) and Nicholas Raczynski. Pallbearers will be Keenan Williams, Gage Williams, Eathan Lewis, Greg Copeland, Ryan Lollis, Charlton Moore and Don Napier.
