Sandra Russ McCormack, 62, of Greenwood, passed away on October 14, 2023, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born on August 25, 1961, in Barnwell, South Carolina, Sandra was the daughter of the late Earl Carlisle and Margaret White Russ. She was a devoted and caring individual, with her greatest joy found within the walls of her home. As a loving mother to her children and grandchildren, she cherished the moments spent with them, creating memories that will forever live on. Known for her culinary talents, Sandra's kitchen was always filled with the aroma of delicious meals being prepared. Her Thanksgiving dinners were legendary, with her dressing and sweet potatoes being the highlight of the feast. Sandra was an avid Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves fan and was a member of Ninety Six First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children: Meg Simmons (Eddie) and Lee McCormack (Leslie); sisters Rhonda Mitchell and Ann Butler (John); and grandchildren, Milla McCormack and Macklee Simmons.

A memorial service will be held at Mole Funeral Home Saturday, October 21st 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
