Obituary
Sarah Helen Hays Cook, 97, resident of NHC-Clinton, formerly of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019.
Born in Columbus, MS, she was a daughter of the late Thomas B. Hays, Sr. and Eva M. McCullough Hays. She retired from Vernon Textiles Manufacturing Company in Alabama and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy C. Cook; a son-in-law, Albert K. "Kirk" Alexander, Sr. (Judy); grandchildren, Kirk Alexander, Jr. (Renee) and Allan Keith Alexander; four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Cook Alexander; sisters, Lounell Cole and Hilda Hays; and brothers, Thomas B. Hays, Jr., John W. Hays, and Robert Hays.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
