Sara Elizabeth Parris Dow, 74, of 7102 Ninety Six Highway, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Bell Pace Parris. She retired from Monsanto and attended Greenwood Shores Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Bobby Parris.

Surviving are her children, Yvonne Canfield (Butch), Pam Collins (Joey), Debra Allen, Barbara McAllister (Randy), Jimmy Buff (Deana), all of Ninety Six, Bobby Anthony (Brandy) of Laurens, and Jerry Lowe (Amy) of Bradley; three sisters, Betty Walker (Jack) of Laurens, Mary Hellams of Saluda, and Margaret McDowell (Brooks) of Ninety Six; four brothers, Eddie Parris (Shelvie), Wayne Parris (Sylvia), both of Ninety Six, Butch Parris (Margaret) of Saluda, and Raymond Parris of Laurens; a daughter in law , Teresa Gibson of Simpsonville; thirteen grandchildren; and thirty two great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Going officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Shores Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family members are at their respective homes.
