Sarah Wynn Huckabee, 92, formerly of 308 Ferncliff Drive, widow of John D. Huckabee, Jr., died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center, Laurens. Born in Comer, GA, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Jannie Inez Porterfield Wynn. She was a patient sitter and a member of Laurel Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Jannie Diane Akin (Steve) of Greenwood and Patricia D. Wright of Yuma, AZ; a sister, Loretta Williams (Frank) of Greenwood; two brothers, Rev. Robert Wynn (Betty) of Mauldin and Billy Ray Wynn (Ann) of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Missy Akin (Chuck) of Fountain Inn, Wyatt D. Loftis (Valerie) of Gray Court, Loranda Lewis (Chris) of Greenwood and William Eugene Herring, Jr. (Tanna) of Hendersonville, NC; ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Lewis, Tyler Lewis, D. J. Loftis, Frankie Williams, Ronnie Wynn, Darrow Wynn. The family is at the home of her daughter, Diane and Steve Akin, 308 Ferncliff Drive.
