Scott Allen Popplewell, 48, of 202 Sherwood Drive, husband of Donna Montgomery Conaway, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, he was the son of Elaine Torre and the late Robert Popplewell. Scott was a truck driver for Pulliam Trucking and was of the Catholic faith. Surviving in addition to his mother of Connecticut and his wife of the home are two sons, Ryan Popplewell of AZ and Scott Popplewell of MA; two daughters, Christie Wilson of Ware Shoals and Lacey Busbee of Saluda; a sister, Paula Lonergan, MA; a brother-in-law, Mark Montgomery of Greenwood; and nine grandchildren, Jaycen Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Jonas Wilson, Hayden Stoudemire, Owen Stoudemire, Noah Stoudemire, Dalton Busbee, Waylon Busbee and Briell Popplewell. Honorary escort will be the truck drivers of Pulliam Trucking. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to a charity of your choice.
