Obituary

Sharon Calvert Leopard, 62, of 318 Eddy Road, wife of Robert Leopard, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Irene Nancyann Butler Calvert. She was a co-owner of Calvert and Rodgers Septic Tank Service and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Sharon loved trucking, racing, and fishing. Surviving are her husband of the home; four children, Jeremy Wayne Rodgers of Ninety Six, Sherry Rodgers Canfield (Steve) of Ninety Six, Allen Leopard (Lisa) of Ninety Six, and Ashley Nicole Leopard of Greenwood ; a sister, Nancy Davis (James) of North Myrtle Beach; a daughter-in-law, Mary Brent of Greenwood; two sister-in-laws, Pat Calvert of GA and Donna Ek (Johnny) of Ninety Six; mother and father in law, Bob Leopard (Trudy) of Ninety Six; and five grandchildren, Xander Leopard, Anna Canfield, Nevaeh Leopard, Sara Owens, and Robin Bodie. She was preceded in death by two sons, J.T. Leopard and Jesse Luther Rodgers; and a brother, Melvin Eugene "Gene " Calvert. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hellams, Ben Hellams, Danny Doolittle, Gary Hepler, Kenneth "K.J. " Stargel, and Kevin Hewett. The family is at the home of her daughter, Sherry, 126 Gin House Road, Epworth. '
