Obituary
Sharron Carroll Burnett, wife of Steve Burnett, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025 on her 68th birthday.
Born in Abbeville, she was the daughter of the late Tillman and Mamie Lou "Connie" Kidd Carroll. Sharron was a graduate of Charzanne Beauty College and was a beautician for 27 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Mildred and Frank Burnett.
Sharron was a good wife to Steve and is also survived by her daughter, April Barrett Alexander (Brian) and her grandchildren, Tillman Graham Allen (Lisa), Steven Cruze Kennemore, Chloe Matteline Kennemore and Wyatt Korbin Pickens. She is also survived by very special friends, Cheryl McFarland, Brenda Creswell and Bruce Deal, Gary and Hilda Dorn, Teresa and Pot Gut Ashmore, Debra and Ricky Banks, Vickie and Buddy Hastings and all of Sissy's babies. Other special friends and family include Tim and Jackie Kidd, Phyllis and Frank Eades, Sonya and Ben Gober, Jarred Lunsford, Jessie Kidd, Cody Kidd, Tommy Gary, Ree Ree Marshall and the ladies of Siloam Baptist Church.
A private service will be held at the family's homeplace.
