Shelby Jean Ingram Redden, 71, of 112 Porter Court, widow of James Williamston �Jimmy� Redden, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Jewel Willie and Ethel Stasney Ingram. She was a 1958 graduate of Greenwood High School, worked for a number of years at Greenwood Mills, Harris Plant and retired from Drinkard Litho and received the Most Dedicated Employee award from the SC Printing Industry. She was an avid Clemson fan and member of IPTAY, was a Master Gardener and seamstress, making the majorette uniforms for the Greenwood High School band for many years. She was a member of Harris Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter, Jewel Briskin and her husband, Ricky, of Greenwood; her son, James Williamston �Billy� Redden, II, of Asheville, NC; two grandchildren, Lindsay Burns and her husband, Joey, of Greenwood and Nicholette �Nikki� Redden of Asheville; sister-in-law, Deborah Ingram and nephew, Justin Ingram, of Hodges and special family, Barry and Doni Briskin of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 19, 2011 and her brother, James W. Ingram, on August 22, 2011.
