Obituary
Sherian Medlock Laughlin, 63, of 311 West Keels Road, wife of Steve Laughlin, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Self Regional HealthCare.
Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Medlock and Ethel Juanita Scott Bradberry. She was employed by NHC of Greenwood following her retirement from Self Regional HealthCare as a RN from the labor and delivery department. She attended Rice Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Re'chelle Jordan (J.J.) of Greenwood, Michael Rodgers (Shannon) of Abbeville, Chadwick Rodgers and Clay Laughlin, both of Greenwood; brothers, Bob Medlock (Diane) of Greenwood, Don Medlock (Cathy) of Myrtle Beach, and Sid Cole (Brenda) of Greenwood; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Rice Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Hodges and the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Austin Norton, Peyton Griffin, Cory Townsend, Glenn Jones, Troy Cole, Roland Gauvin, Kevin Medlock, and Brian Medlock.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Rice Memorial Baptist Church, 1975 Hwy 72 West, Greenwood, SC 29649.
