Sheridan Ann Crapo, 82 of Easley, SC, wife of Raymond Lowell Crapo, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Born June 8, 1943, in Dearborn, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Joseph Czajkowski, Sr. and Janice Evelyn Wood Czajkowski. A proud graduate of Davenport University, where she studied Marketing and Banking. Sheri spent most of her career in Marketing at Union Bank, where she excelled at planning and managing special events. Later, she worked at Stiles Machinery, where she met her husband Ray, the love of her life. Known for her quick, sarcastic wit, Sheridan never lost the sparkle that made her so endearing. Everyone adored her.
Sheri found great joy in gardening and beautifying her yard and home. Her favorite time of the day was "beer thirty" when she would spend time on the patio with Ray and their beloved cat, Suzy, where they would enjoy a cold one while taking in the beauty of their yard, flowers, pool, and South Carolina sunsets.
Sheri carried herself with candor and class. Her home was always beautifully and sophisticatedly decorated, reflecting her natural talent for interior design. She was also an excellent cook and took great pleasure in providing delicious meals for her family. Sheri was a devoted fan of the University of Michigan Basketball. She would have been thrilled with their Championship this year and we believe she may have had a little something to do with it.
Sheri was a member of 5 Point Church in Easley, SC.
She was predeceased by her son, Bret Edward James, three years earlier, on the same day, February 7th and her brother, Theodore Joseph Czajkowski, Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Kelley James Larson (Alan) and her daughter-in-law, Betsy Kay James; sister, Marybeth Stearns; grandchildren: Jennifer May James, Katelyn Taylor Hechler (Josh), Andrew James Larson (Tinsley Blaire), Alec Scott Larson (Alexandra North), Westin Theodore James; greatgrandchildren, Alexandria Janice Costello (Colin), Hoyt Kendall Ferguson, Savannah Blake Hechler, Lydia Kate Larson, and great-greatgrandchild Ivy Linda-May Costello.
Sheridan's husband, who passed away on May 6, 2026, shares in her memory, and together they will be honored in a memorial service at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran Cemetery on Friday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m.
