Sherryl Ravencraft Brown, 63, of 1324 Ninety Six Highway, beloved wife of Joel Ray Brown, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 28, 2013 while a patient at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Margaret Larkins Butler and the late James M. Ravencraft. Sherryl co-chaired the local MDA Labor Day Telethon Pledge Center for 17 years, was a volunteer for the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and Greenwood�s Wellness Celebration. Sherryl was a faithful member of South Greenwood/Restoration Ministries for more than 40 years, where she co-taught Sunday School for the Senior Ladies Class for several years. Surviving is her husband of the home; her mother of Greenwood; her sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Karl Hoffman; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lisa Ravencraft; nieces, Jennifer Rhodes and her husband, Charles, and Adia Fain; nephews, Jason Butler, Zac Ravencraft, Tanner Ginn and Devin Butler; her mother-in-law, Alice G. Brown; and a very special �adopted mother�, Effie Hoffman. Sherryl was preceded in death by her precious, beautiful and wonderful daughter, Tiffanny Larkins Ravencraft; her father, James M. Ravencraft; her papa, J. P. Butler; grandparents, Annie and A. L. Larkins, Edgar �Spot� and Eula Weems; and her nephew, James Roy Ravencraft.
