Shirley B. Haynie, 76, wife of the late Gary T. Haynie, peacefully passed away surrounded by Love on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
She was born on August 14, 1947, in Greenwood and was the daughter of the late Andrew Boles and Virginia Golden Sweezey and sister to the late Charlie Boles.
She is survived by son, William Russell Haynie (Rusty) of Greenwood, Rhonda Haynie Mitchell of St. Louis and Kevin Thomas Haynie of Greenwood; four grandchildren and one great grandchild, all who loved her dearly.
Shirley loved her family more than anything. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds. She loved many and many loved her! In addition to her family, she loved her home. Shirley took pride in knowing that her home was a place where her loved ones could gather. Now to honor her, her family will hold a service at the home on Friday May 3, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Self Regional Cancer Center.
