Obituary

Shirley Ann "Dear" Cato Quattlebaum, of 210 Riley Road South, Greenwood, widow of Cyrus "Cy" Joe Quattlebaum died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her home.

Born in Trenton, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Eugene Cato and Myrtle Carpenter Cato. Mrs. Quattlebaum was the cofounder of Quattlebaum Meat Processing and was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Cato Black; and two brothers, Ralph Cato and Charles Cato.

Surviving are two sons, Todd Edwin Quattlebaum (Toni) and Cyrus "Rus" J. Quattlebaum, Jr. (Yvonne) both of Greenwood; a sister, June Cato Covar of Edgefield; a brother, Robert Lee Cato (Carolyn) of Aiken; two grandchildren, Suzanne Blake Hicks (Andy) of Murrysville, PA and Samantha Jo Quattlebaum of Memphis, TN; and two great grandchildren, Vivi and Anna Hicks.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carol Peppers Wray officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 3 pm.
