Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Shirley Lorraine Tillson, 85, widow of Robert Tillson, died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Savannah Heights Living Center, McCormick. Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude Sorel. She was a former resident of Greenville and Greenwood, had been employed by Welch�s in Providence, RI and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, McCormick. Surviving is a daughter, Lorraine Blais of Warwick, RI; two sons, David Chiaverini of Irvine, CA and Thomas Chiaverini of Webster, MA; grandsons, Jamie Knight of Greenwood, Nathan Chiaverini of New York, Richard C. Stockley and Paul Chiaverini of Rhode Island; a granddaughter, Amy Chiaverini of Chicago; a sister, Virginia Foley and two brothers, Edward Sorel and Dennis Sorel. She was a preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Knight.
