Obituary
Addis "Sonny" Theo Baird, Jr., 79, widower of Gwendolyn Campbell Baird, died Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at NHC of Clinton.
Born in Macon, GA, he was a son of the late Addis Theo Baird, Sr. and Grace Swann Baird. He was a retired steam & pipefitter, associated with various construction companies through the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union 072. Sonny enjoyed spending time with his family, especially if there was singing or eating involved.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracee Rush (David) of Greenwood and Terrie Springer (Chris) of Zebulon, NC; a sister, Jean Sims of Macon, GA; a brother, Jerry Baird (Billie) of Loganville, GA; grandchildren, Jake Brandt (Leah) of Williamston and Malloree Dawson (Thomas) of Belton, Allan Springer (Fallon) of Athens, GA, Grayson Brandt of Greenwood and Samantha Springer of Zebulon, NC.
The family would like to give a special thank you the staff at Ashley Place and all the staff of NHC Clinton.
A private family gathering will be held.
