Sonya Turner Banks, 43, of 106 Barkwood Drive, Greenwood, wife of Keith Banks died Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, she is a daughter of Ray Beaman Turner, Jr. and Donna Inez Allen Turner. Sonya was a graduate of Ninety Six High School, a homemaker and enjoyed singing karaoke. She attended Abbeville Church of God.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home her mother of Spartanburg and father of Greenwood are two daughters, Kirstin Delgado (Julio) and Jennifer Linn Timmerman (Daniel) both of Greenwood; and a sister, Dana Turner Sanders (Jeff) of Inman.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Timmerman officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 2-3 pm.
