Stanley Edward �Busta� Walker, 70, of 2909 County Farm Road, widower of Bonnie Fowler Walker, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at his home. Born in Greenwood County; he was the son of the late Woodrow Workman Walker and Florence Sears Walker. Busta was a U.S. Army Reserves veteran for 35 years and received the Distinguish Service medal and Distinguish Rifleman medal. He was a fuel oil truck driver for Greenwood Petroleum for 35 years and retired from Milliken in Clinton. Busta was an avid rabbit hunter and enjoyed riding Whizzer motorbikes. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Beth Provan(Freddie) and Florence Ann Bryant (Michael); a sister, Ivey Walker Blum (Mike); and four grandchildren, Brock McDonald, Walker Provan, Devin Bryant and Lacie Bryant. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Keith Polk officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home.
