Mrs. Stella Easler Faulkner, 90, formerly of Ninety-Six, widow of Otis T. Faulkner, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Fayetteville, NC. Born in Richland County, SC on December 19, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Walter P. and Fannie Grimsley Easler. Stella was preceded in death by a son, Wayne T. Faulkner; five brothers; and four sisters. Surviving are two daughters: Glenda F. Johnson of Fayetteville, NC, and Carolyn A. Faulkner of Wilmington, NC; a sister Sadie E. Rushton of Ninety-Six; a brother Harold Easler of Valdosta, GA; and grandchildren: Candice Bruton of Greensboro, NC, Evan Faulkner-Hayes of Beaufort, NC, and Todd Bruton of Greenville, SC. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hope Mills Retirement Center for their loving care for the last three years.
