Steve Allen Canfield, 62, of 641 Bradley Road, McCormick, husband of Mary Hall Canfield, died Monday, February 24, 2014, at Abbeville Area Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late James Doyle Hamby and Connie Elaine Nix Hamby. He was employed by Austin Industrial and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife of the home; a daughter, Kristin Anderson (Travis) of Greenwood; a son, Steve Canfield (Sherry) of Ninety Six; three step daughters, Jenny Jennings (Deborah) of Lancaster, Michelle Smith (Kirk) of McCormick, and April Erneston (Glen); a sister, Lisa Eustace of Ninety Six; a brother, Ken Hamby (Patti) of Ware Shoals; and six grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Jude�s Children�s Hospital; 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The family is at the home of his son, Steve; 126 Gin House Road, Epworth, SC.
