Steve Gary Crawford, 54, of 2207 Scotts Ferry Road, husband of Freida Alexander Crawford, died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late William Alvin and Jeanette Myers Crawford. He worked at Greenwood Mills, Harris Plant and attended First Bethany Baptist Church in McCormick.

He was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Wells and two brothers, Wayne Crawford and Michael Crawford.

Surviving is his wife of the home and a brother, Randy Crawford, of Greenwood.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Alexander, Jr. officiating.

Pallbearers will be John Alexander, Sr., Robbie Alexander, Stan Medlock, Seth Medlock, Kenny Swygert, and Nick Swygert.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Harley Funeral Home and Crematory.
