Steven Harold Hunt, Jr., 35, of 112 Winston Court, husband of Jamie Cromer, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Steve and Janet Chastain Hunt. He was employed by Flexible Technology, a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six, and an avid Clemson football fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife of Greenwood and his parents of Greenwood are his children, Kylee Hunt and Hayden Hunt; sisters, Rachel Hunt of Ninety Six and April Hunt of Maryland; brother, Joseph Hunt of Greenwood; maternal grandmother, Jaynette Chastain; nieces and nephews, Victoria Hunt, Elizabeth Hunt, Stefanie Hunt, Landon Hulon, Levi Hulon, L.J. Rousey, Clayton Rousey, Dillon Rousey, and Carter Rousey, along with fifteen others.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward Chastain and paternal grandparents, Francis Hunt and Barbara Hunt.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse and Rev. Ben Hjalmer officiating.
Pallbearers will be Josh Myers, Jason Myers, Juston Erskine, Keith Watts, Trey Timmerman, DJ Hitt. Johnny Chastain, Landon Hulon and Levi Hulon.
Honorary escort will be close friends of Steven.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home.
