Susan Lynn Stone Williams, 72, of Hodges, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at her home peacefully surrounded by her family.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Robert Hampton Stone and Dorothy Aileen Bridges Stone. Susan's journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit, fond love for journaling, and a zest for travel, which allowed her to create lasting memories with her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandson, Brett Lewis, and her beloved fur baby, Rascal. Susan was unapologetically and blissfully herself. Her strong will and unique personality touched all who knew her. She was truly one-of-a-kind and fought valiantly until her final breath.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Andrew Stone.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Raquel Lewis (Brandon); her sisters, Pam Westmoreland (Kenneth) and Frances Stone; her cherished grandson, Brett Lewis; and her best fur baby dog, Rascal Lewis Williams.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Lewis, Brett Lewis, Greg Hughes, Kenneth Westmoreland, Chad Cox, Charles Stone and Clyde Stone.
The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 Noon-1pm.
