Obituary
Swinton Hall, Jr. 88, of Ninety Six, widower of Anna Martha Derrick Hall, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his home.
Born on May 31, 1936, in Batesburg, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Swinton Hall, Sr. and Dawnie Nealer Haywood Hall. For 31 years, he lived on Blyth Road in Greenwood. Swinton was a beloved son, father, and grandfather. A simple man, he found joy in the little things. He spent his career as a truck driver in the sanitation industry.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Lawson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Tracy Lawson, Christopher Crawford, Shane Lawson, Darren Hall, Jeremy Hall, Heather Hall, Tiffany Loggins, and Lisa Hall; sixteen great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Hall.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Steve Hall, Joyce Loggins, and Jimmy Hall.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Christopher Crawford officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
