Sydney "Syd" Franklin Edwards, 60, of 222 McKellar Drive, husband of Debra Webb Edwards, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late James William and Evelyn Anne Watson Edwards. He was employed with Greenwood Mills, Harris Plant and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Debra of the home are his children, Trista Wilson (Nick) and Ashley Hill (Brandon), both of Greenwood; sisters, Margaret Ann Edwards and Patricia Ford; brother, Jim Edwards, all of Greenville; and five grandchildren.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
