Taffy Ann Butler Hughes, of Enoree, beloved wife of Frank Hughes, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born on July 11, 1944, in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Emanuel LeVear "EL" Butler and Annie Rinehart Butler. Taffy was a devoted wife to Frank for 63 wonderful years. Together, they shared a lifetime of love and companionship. She was a pillar of strength and compassion within her family, who she loved deeply and supported with unwavering kindness. Her faith as a Baptist was central to her life, and she embraced a personal relationship with Jesus that inspired those around her. Throughout her life, Taffy found joy in helping others, always extending a hand of support and encouragement. Her generous heart and gentle nature left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Denise Robinson.
Surviving in addition to her husband are grandson, Kevin Robinson (Megan); great granddaughter, Sunday Robinson; sister, Wanda Edmunds; and brothers, Colan Butler, Barry Butler, and Randy Butler.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Belton.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Butler, Noah Butler, Kevin Robinson, Bruce Edmonds, Ryan Hammett and Todd Simmons.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 pm.
