Tammy Carithers Emert, 44, of 220 Saco Avenue, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Billy Carithers and the late Janice Cannon Carithers. Tammy was a weaver at Greenwood Mills and attended Marshall Road Church of God. Surviving in addition to her father and stepmother, Betty W. Carithers of Greenwood are three children, Jonathan (Renee�) Emert of Ninety Six, Blake (Amy) Emert and Alexander Emert, both of Greenwood; a sister, Renee� Carithers of Greenwood; a brother, Kevin Carithers of Greer; and grandchildren, Andrew Emert, Kendell Emert, both of Greenwood and Cameron Emert of Ninety Six. The family is at the home.
