Tara Collins Carroll, 52, of Greenwood, wife of Ronnie L. Carroll, Jr. and mother of Kristen Carroll Henderson, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Michael G. Collins and Lynda Simmons Wood. Tara was a 1989 graduate of Greenwood High School and received a surgical tech degree from Piedmont Technical College. She was formerly employed with Greenwood Eye Clinic and Piedmont Health Group West. Tara was a loving wife, mother and GiGi and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Chris Collins and Timmy Collins.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home, are her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen & Nat Henderson; granddaughter, Everleigh Henderson; mother and father-in-law, Joette & Ronnie Carroll, Sr.; sister and brother-in-law, Dana & Jon Morgan; nephew, Eli Morgan; stepmother, Sherree Rogers; half-sisters, Courtney Ramirez and Whitney Pollan; and four nieces.

Services will be held 11am Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Sherfield officiating.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Bridges, Tee Timmerman, Nat Henderson, Jon Morgan, Eli Morgan and Jason Abney.

The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 4-6pm.
