Ted Gholston Mitchell, 81, of 3401 Hwy 25 South, husband of Linda Nabors Mitchell, died Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home. Born in Comer, GA, he was a son of the late John Henry and Ada Bell Duncan Mitchell. He retired from Pro-Med, served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 34 years; four daughters, Pam (David) Todd of Abbeville, Valerie J. Mitchell of Anderson, Debbie (Al) Ansley of Millbrook, AL, and Sherry Goodman of Greenwood; a son, Wayne Rogers of Greenwood; a brother, Henry Wade (Frankie) Mitchell of Greenwood; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth "Jeanie " Mitchell of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Gene Mitchell Pallbearers will be David Todd, Josh Todd, Kyle Ansley, Dalton Ansley, Dylan Rogers, and Al Ansley.
