Terri Elizabeth Dellinger Coleman, 69, of Greenwood, widow of Leland Abney Coleman, III. passed away October 16, 2024 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont after a brief illness.
Born in Greenwood, SC on March 22, 1955 to Roy Fuller Dellinger, Sr. and Betty Rose Griffin Dellinger. Terri was a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High School, a 1976 graduate of Lander College, where she was a member of Alpha Phi sorority, a Pom Pom Girl, and received her bachelor of science in education. She received her Master's degree plus 30 hours from Clemson University in education in 1982. Terri taught for forty years in Greenwood District 50 and Piedmont Technical College. She was a life long member of South Main Baptist Church. Terri enjoyed riding with her late husband of forty seven years, Abney, on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing cards with best friends, Scott and Alice Arnold, reading, working jigsaw puzzles, and playing with her fur babies.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jimmy Coleman.
Terri is survived by her son, Leland Abney Coleman, IV of Greenwood; fur baby, Griffin; fur grandson, Zeke; sister, Toni Dellinger Justus (Donny); brother, Chip Dellinger (Tamra), both of Ninety Six; sister-in-law, Carol Sanders (Stephan) of Greenwood; nephews and nieces, Michael Coleman, Chip Justus (Jessica), Chad Dellinger (Katie), Ross Sanders (Taylor), Casey Tipps (Austin), and Carly Caballero (Gian); and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on December 14 at the Harley Family Center, 1101 Main Street S., Greenwood.
